long-overdue ""about me"" post

 at the time of publishing this it will have been 2 days since i have turned 18... Hooray!!! i realized i haven't made a formal introduction and. i dunno. on/around my bday just seemed like an appropriate time. and i feel like this blog could do with a revamp/'revival' anyway so, without further ado...

hi! my name is Nettsy, short-ish for Bayonett.

as stated previously i'm 18, i'm a Black American, and i really love reptiles ESPECIALLY alligators and the various other members of the Crocodylian order. ("Crocodylian order" that sounds hard as fuck 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤)
also, my pronouns are he/him and she/her (no preference, i do not use they/them) my sexuality is lesbian and i identify as a lesbian. don't ask me my gender (i say this lightheartedly) because IDFK nonbinary lesbian i guess
i'll be going to college this year and i plan on pursing a degree in either UI/UX Design or Fine Arts & Music. hehehe... i love to draw and i love to experiment, especially with colors, AS i draw. you can view my art here (under '#nettsy's art') and here!

i have Autism and GAD (General Anxiety Disorder,) both of which are veeerrryyy prominent things that, of course, affect the way i think and interact with others -- both in real life and... yes, irrationally enough... digitally as well. despite this, i think i do a pretty good job at persevering & looking on the bright side. the passion i have for my main interests brings me out of my shell more often than not!

- paleontology (generally refers to fossils/ life of the past --- i'm really into the dinosaurs above all tho)

i want to learn how to PROPERLY 3d model & mod games... and maybe get into some sort of clothing design/making. probably knitting, because i have an entire basket of different colors of yarn just laying around... ALSO. i write NSR fanfics. do i FINISH said NSR fanfics? No 😅😅😅😅 but i DO write them nonetheless. they're all just... very early drafts. when i get around to finishing my fics the First place i'll be posting them is on here and then maybe on AO3 if i have the guts.

here are some of my character playlists. i'm sure i have more on my spotify profile that you can look for but aren't necessarily PRESENTABLE yet (i say 'presentable' as opposed to 'done' because these two will probably never be 'finished' as i'm discovering new music on the daily... i think it's about time i update them tho)

aaannnddd... of coouursee i have to mention Mayday. my beloved... i REALLY like Mayday I DO!!!!!!!! I DO!!!!!! this is what happens when a person hyperfixates on a single character. I like her For a multitude of reasons... but you can simplify them to: 1. she's really cute, and 2. being a near-blank-canvas in game leaves me a lot of room to make my own interpretations of her past, motives, aspirations, and behaviors in a way that is both true to her character + how i see fit . i picture her as someone deeply affected by Vinyl City's issues; both blatant (the blackouts & outright banning of Rock music) and more subtextual (a few examples being: gentrification as a consequence of appealing to tourism, overall inadequate infrastructure leading to the blackouts *and* the city's flooding problems... etc, all brought on by NSR...) i often project onto her experiences i've had in real life, and some of these issues overlap.
also, because i am constantly worried about being misconstrued (not that i have EVER had this happen yet in this case but i can't help but Just-In-Case for the worst,) i don't mean the above in an End-All-Be-All kind of way as if the way i think of May is the law of the land or something. i love love love other interpretations of her. any May is a positively splendiferous May and that's why i'm swinging her around by my teeth regardless. also, ideekay if this is even necessary to say BUT i don't selfship/yumeship with mayday cuz it's not really my thing
oh and 3. she's REALLY cute. i mean. just look at her!

what a... erm... wonderful face...! BLESS HER WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL SOUL!!!
